Need to decrease your footprint in your facility without sacrificing storage space? Dense solutions are the answer! These economical solutions will help any facility speed up picking and increase storage capacity without needing to use more space. By utilizing your floor space to the maximum potential, dense solutions are able to store more equipment than standard racking, and they are also great for ease of picking and replenishment.

Pushback
Pushback rack is a storage system that allows materials to be stored by being pushed. On a gently-graded ramp, stored materials are able to flow down the ramp to the aisle to be picked. When a new load is added to the rack, it pushes back the pallets already in front of it, making this a Last In, First Out system. Pushback racks’ nested carts make placement and retrieval of pallets easy and it has high storage density, saving you space in your facility.
Pallet Flow
Pallet flow is a high-density storage system that allows multiple pallets to be fed from warehouse load ends to pick ends. This First In, First Out (FIFO) rack can be adjusted to the desired depths to meet your capacity needs. Beams can be set on top of beams and can vary in height and provide a downward pitch. Utilizing pallet flow will help you ensure you are getting faster and more accurate pallet transfers in your facility.
Drive-In/Drive Thru
Drive-in racking allows a forklift operator to enter the racking system from one side to pick up pallets. This racking system allows you to increase your storage density by storing more pallets in a smaller area. Drive-in racking typically requires fewer aisles, which allows for up to 75% more pallet space than standard selective rack.
Drive-thru racks offer the same benefits as drive-in, but they are accessible from both sides as opposed to having just one entrance and exit.
Pallet Runners
Pallet runners are semi-automated deep lane storage systems that utilize an automated cart where an operator selects the command they want via the hand controller. The cart will then pick up the pallet and store it in the next available position. Similar to the storing process, pallet retrieval is orchestrated by the operator and the cart will go to the desired location to pick up the pallet and return to the home position.
Pallet runners are fast and extremely user-friendly, making them easy to use. They also tout a modern design that utilizes green technology, cutting down on wasted energy and decreasing costs to you.
