Where We Came In
Our customer used other integrators previously but engaged Storage Solutions as a partner to provide a turnkey project experience tailolerd to their unique needs. Our team analyzed and evaluated various options for this project, including drive-in rack designs and an automated pallet shuttle system. Through conversations with Weaver Popcorn and our team’s real-world knowledge, we determined that expanding their existing drive-in system was the most cost -effective and operationally efficient option to provide the desired flexibility.
Once our CAD department finalized the design, our sales support team guided the project from start to finish, including sourcing, ordering, delivery, and installation of all materials. The Chief Operating Officer of Weaver Popcorn, Tim Ingle, described the experience our team provided as “seamless” and “turnkey.”
The Results
Weaver Popcorn expanded its existing drive-in storage system, gaining over 3200 pallet positions and eliminating costly off-site storage fees. Our team also installed backstop netting to protect walking paths, as well as a combination of angle iron and guardrail to protect the newly installed rack.
