Project Spotlight: Rialto, CA Third Party Logistics

We’re always up for a challenge when it comes to new facility installation! This 100,000 square foot facility in Rialto needed new material to prepare for new product and increased shipping volume in its current layout. We took on the task of installing new racking and removing old material while the facility was fully operational.

This 3-month long project revolved around the replacement of the existing equipment while working around the “operational areas”. This took a lot of coordination between the SSI Project Manager and the team on-site. Everything needed to be completely planned out so the removal and installation could be completed by the scheduled time. We were able to sequence the installation to allow the customer the necessary operating space while giving ourselves ample room to finish the project without delay.

Convenience Store Giant

New Warehouse for Convenience Store Giant

At Storage Solutions, we are all about selling solutions. When our customer needed racking for their convenience store warehouse in a high seismic zone, but didn’t have the room for the extra large base-plates, our team was able to solve the problem with tube rack!

Their Problem / Our solution:

The customer needed new racking in a new warehouse to serve a convenience store giant.  The warehouse is located in a high seismic zone, and standard racking would require very large base-plates.

Our team utilized tube racking, and the base-plate size was greatly reduced allowing more product space on the floor.

Project Spotlight: Project California

For the next Project Spotlight Series, we are taking you to the sunshine state! That’s right, the Storage Solutions installation team is in California. This project is a bit different because the 390,000 sq. ft. facility is in a seismic zone. The rack and bin mezzanine being installed had to be specially designed to accomodate the seismic regulations.
