Welcome, Andrew Beering!
We are pleased to welcome Andrew Beering to the Storage Solutions team! Andrew joined us this past February as a Solutions Development Intern. He is currently a student at Purdue University where he studies Industrial Engineering with a minor in Management. Andrew is very active throughout his University as he is involved in nanomanufacturing and machine learning research, the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity and the Honors College.
Andrew grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan where he was involved in numerous extracurriculars. Some of his hobbies include running, tennis, basketball and euchre. This past summer he biked from Los Angeles to Washington DC for a non-profit called Ability Experience. This trek across the country helped to raise money and awareness for children and adults with disabilities.
What do you want to gain from working at Storage Solutions?
“I would like to gain a strong knowledge of the material handling industry and be able to put some of the engineering principles I’ve learned in school into real-world practice. I’ve enjoyed learning the Smart Slotting process and look forward to continued growth. I have and hope to continue increasing my knowledge on supply chain, industrial design, and facility optimization. Storage Solutions has invested in me and given me an incredible experience so far, and I hope to have a lasting positive impact on the company in return.”

We had a great time in Chicago last week for ProMat 2019! It’s always a great start to trade show season when we can bring back so much information from a large show like this.
What is ProMat?
ProMat is one of the largest tradeshows in the material handling industry. This gives us the opportunity to meet and collaborate with other industry leaders to enhance how we do business with you. Our main goal is to bring back information and ideas that help us serve you better.
We normally send 10 to 20 employees to ProMat, and this year was no exception. While we are always excited to send employees that have attended every year, like Tim Fonderoli, we are also happy to hear about the experiences of first-timers like our Inside Sales Manager, Zach Cole.
“The first thing that struck me was purely the size of the trade show and the number of vendors/booths there were. I enjoyed walking around in search of products/systems I hadn’t seen before or didn’t know exactly how it applied to our industry, which lead to some interesting conversations and new contacts. Overall – great experience and exposure to the larger scale picture of our industry.”
We had a great time at the show and can’t wait for MODEX next year, and hope to see you there!

Welcome, Greg Michel!
We are pleased to announce the addition of Greg Michel to the Storage Solutions team! Greg joined us as a National Accounts Manager in our Westfield office. He is an alumni of Indiana University where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the Kelly School of Business in Finance and Accounting. With seven years of sales and management experience under his belt, we are thrilled with the knowledge he brings to our team. In his previous role, he managed the Coca-Cola Indiana Sales team. This consisted of about 15 people and 8,000 customers.
Greg is an avid golf player, and in his free time enjoys playing with his family and friends. He also loves to travel and explore new places with his wife. Visiting Ireland was a highlight for him. He says that the Cliffs of Moher is one of the most beautiful views he’s ever seen.
What are you most excited for at Storage Solutions?
