New Hire Spotlight: Breighton Mullinix

 

Welcome to Storage Solutions, Breighton Mullinix!

We are pleased to welcome Breighton Mullinix to Storage Solutions! Breighton joins the Logistics Handling Solutions team as a Freight & Logistics Administrator. He is based out of our Westfield office. Breighton attended Oak Hill High School in Converse, Indiana, and later attended Indiana University Kokomo, where he studied Business with a concentration in Finance. His last position was at Stellantis (Fiat Chrysler) as a Material Area Manager in Tipton, where they produced the 9-speed transmission. Breighton worked in logistics, supervising a team that roughly consisted of 70 people. Breighton also tracked parts, shipments coming in and finished products going out. On top of freight, most of his job was ensuring production had the correct parts for each specific build on their schedule.

Breighton is a big college football fan who loves watching and supporting IU sports. He loves to travel and would like to one day visit every national park in the United States. In his free time, he enjoys watching and participating in sports, especially football. He also enjoys playing video games, hanging out with friends, and fast cars! Most of his free time is spent hanging out with his dog Forty and taking him to dog parks. Breighton hopes to build long-lasting relationships with other employees that he can take with him wherever life may go!

New Hire Spotlight: Ryan Waszczuk

 

Welcome to Storage Solutions, Ryan Waszczuk!

Ryan was born in New England and of predominantly Polish heritage. Ryan attended college in Keene, New Hampshire, which, fun fact, is where they filmed the original Jumanji movie! After graduating college in three years, he moved to Indiana from New England to primarily work for Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation and J.C. Hart Company. As an assistant property manager for J.C. Hart Company, he focused on marketing for Lakeside Apartments of Carmel. With this community, he led a program that awarded his community top 100 in the nation by ApartmentRatings.com for the last 8 of their reports (Top 150 in the country for the previous 11 reports) along with a few other annual awards. The company later awarded him for the time he invested in marketing classes and certifications. Throughout his tenure with J.C. Hart, he also volunteered to assist the company’s marketing department, in which he took photos, filmed and edited training videos, recorded virtual tours, created social media ads, and designed leasing booklets and other marketing materials.

Ryan enjoys playing pickup soccer with a group of other dads most weekends and league ice hockey whenever he has the chance. He also enjoys kayaking, nature walks, and landscape photography. His top life highlights include his wedding, the birth of his children, visiting family in Toronto, and going to a Red Sox v. Blue Jays game in which David Ortiz threw him a baseball during his first year with the Red Sox!

In five years, Ryan has a personal goal to fully understand marketing as a whole. While he is always excited about projects in graphic design, videography, and photography, he feels it is important to understand all the disciplines in the field to provide his best work. Therefore, when he provides his work, opinions, and or solutions, it is built on additional layers of depth he had accounted for. At this moment, Ryan discovered this industry that was always present in our day-to-day lives, but he had never come to realize existed. Solutions for storage and the optimization of storage are important in every industry.

New Hire Spotlight: Paul-Mikael Howell

 

Welcome to Storage Solutions, Paul-Mikael Howell!

We are pleased to welcome Paul-Mikael Howell to Storage Solutions! Paul-Mikael joins the AutoCAD team as an AutoCAD Associate Designer. He is based out of our Westfield office. Paul-Mikael attended Ivy Tech Community College for 2 Associate Degrees. He attended IUPUI for a Bachelor’s in Construction Engineering Management Technology and an MBA from Western Governors University. His previous employment was for Custom Concrete designing foundation systems for single and multi-unit residential. Paul-Mikael lives in town with his wife, stepdaughter, and five large breed dogs. One is a Great Dane, two English Mastiffs, and two Danniffs. He also shares split custody of his two children as well. Paul-Mikael loves to design houses, build projects around the house, swim, play darts, and sing Karaoke.

Paul-Mikael hopes to gain the opportunity to challenge himself to improve and gain a leadership position. So far, working at Storage Solutions, he has not found anything too challenging, but he is actively trying to find and take on anything he can! One thing that would surprise you about Paul-Mikael is that he is an avid karaoke singer that will attend at least once, if not twice a week, and has mastered many songs. His top three highlights include the birth of his two children, marrying his love, and successfully delivering 16 puppies from his Mastiff and Great Dane when they had their litter.

New Hire Spotlight: Ashley MacLean

 

Welcome to Storage Solutions, Ashley MacLean!

We are pleased to welcome Ashley MacLean to Storage Solutions! Ashley joins the FDR sales team as a National Accounts Manager based remotely out of South Carolina. Ashley’s previous job was working for Crown Lift Trucks as an Account Representative, where she sold forklifts and warehouse solutions. She managed and developed accounts located in the northeast region of South Carolina. Ashley has previously lived in Connecticut, Florida, and now Florence, South Carolina. She enjoys spending time in the gym, golfing, and taking trips to the mountains or beach on weekends. One thing that may surprise you about Ashley is she once went cliff-diving in Barbados! Her top three life highlights include leaving the hospitality industry to work in material handling, living in Daytona Beach, and traveling to various islands such as Antigua, Barbados, Saint Martin, and Punta Cana!

What are you most excited about working at Storage Solutions?

New Hire Spotlight: John Hummel

 

Welcome to Storage Solutions, John Hummel!

We are pleased to welcome John Hummel to Storage Solutions! John joins the flex team as a Project Manager based out of our Westfield office. John was born in Fishers, IN, and lives in Indianapolis with his wife Kaelie, their two dogs, and a cat. John went to Cathedral High School and attended Indiana University, where he studied Sports Marketing and Management. Previously he worked with the Indiana Pacers and Indiana University Athletics, where he was a Season Ticket Manager and had various operation roles. He most recently worked in the mortgage industry on an operations team. John enjoys watching and playing sports, being outside, and spending time with friends and family. His top three life highlights include climbing Angels Landing at Zion National Park (the most thrilling thing he has ever done), getting a hole-in-one in golf, and being on track alongside the starting grid of cars for the start of the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500.

New Hire Spotlight: Ami Spellman

 

Welcome to Storage Solutions, Ami Spellman!

We are pleased to welcome Ami Spellman to Storage Solutions! Ami joins the flex team as a Project Manager. She is based out of our Westfield office. Ami is a Christian, a wife to her husband, Mike, and a mother of a sixteen-year-old daughter named Sydnee. Ami is also a cat mom to Mango and Marco. Her last job was as a Member Support Supervisor for Healthcare.com. Ami led an excellent team of twelve specialists she still regularly talks to. The pace of working for a healthcare startup was unique and something she enjoyed, but she didn’t think it was sustainable for her long term. She is very grateful for everything the job taught her, but she is glad to be at Storage Solutions now!

Her hobbies include being an avid sports fan. The Colts, IndyCar, and the Reds are her favorite teams to watch (even if the Reds give her major heartburn). She is also a distance runner and a gym rat. Ami and her husband have spent much of their budget and time on vacations, sporting events, and concerts! Her top three life highlights include the birth of her daughter and marrying her husband on her favorite beach. Another life highlight for Ami was when Helio Castroneves won his fourth Indy 500! A fun fact about Ami is she has deaf parents and has sweet-talked the BMV into giving her a driver’s license without taking a driving test!

New Hire Spotlight: McKenzie Rajski

 

Welcome to Storage Solutions, McKenzie Rajski!

We are pleased to welcome McKenzie Rajski to Storage Solutions! McKenzie joins the Marketing and Communication team as the Marketing & Communications Coordinator. She is based out of our Westfield office. McKenzie graduated from Ball State University, where she studied Marketing and Digital Media. McKenzie has had several jobs since the age of fifteen, including serving in the food industry, the most recent being at the 305 Wine Garage in Fortville, IN.

McKenzie is an only child to two amazing parents, along with her favorite companion, her dog, Callie. Her hobbies include getting any physical activity, whether that’s working out, walking her dog, or even hiking at National Parks. Two of her top life highlights include being a back-to-back state champion at Noblesville High School and making the Ball State University All-Girl Cheerleading program. Another life highlight of hers was traveling West to Utah to see Zion National Park, hiking in Sedona, Arizona, and going to Las Vegas!

New Hire Spotlight: Joe Prestella

 

Welcome to Storage Solutions, Joe Prestella!

We are pleased to welcome Joe Prestella to Storage Solutions! Joe joins the sales team as a National Accounts Manager based out of our Rancho Cucamonga office. Joe was born and raised in Southern California. After high school, he attended Azusa Pacific University, played football, and worked for the university athletic department to help pay his way through school. While at Azusa, he earned a BA in Business Administration and an MA in Education, including teaching and school leadership certificates. Joe spent the last 15 years working in public schools as a coach, teacher, and, most recently, as a principal at an award-winning middle school. During his time in education, he served his local community through Rotary International. He worked to plan and help at the Annual Red Ribbon Rally, an event that is part of the larger nationwide Red Ribbon initiative to prevent drug use among America’s youth.

Joe is married to his wonderful wife, Shannon, and together have three children Ben, Nate, and Allie. Every day is an adventure with sports, plays, recitals, and scraped knees! When Joe and Shannon get a night to themselves, they enjoy trying new restaurants and attending concerts and shows. When Joe has downtime, he usually can be found in the kitchen trying out a new recipe on his smoker or trying to catch a baseball game. His kids love camping, and they try to book trips as often as possible! Joe is looking forward to the opportunity for mentorship and leadership that the SSI team provides for their employees. He hopes to grow professionally within the organization and to be able to support others in the same way as the SSI team continues to grow.

New Hire Spotlight: Jackie Brookie

 

Welcome to Storage Solutions, Jackie Brookie!

We are pleased to welcome Jackie Brookie to Storage Solutions! Jackie joins the accounting team as an Accounting Assistant. She is based out of our Westfield office.  Jackie grew up in Indianapolis, IN, and went to North Central High School. She later attended Butler and IUPUI, where she obtained her main course of study in business.  Jackie has had several jobs in the last few years and has most recently worked at Carmel City Court for six years as a court reporter. She enjoys gardening, cooking, crocheting, and reading. Jackie would like to get more involved in cooking when time permits and also hopes to travel to a new destination! She does not have children but has a new puppy, an older dog, and a cat that are her fur children. One thing that would surprise you about Jackie is that she was once thrown into a bullring in Spain!

Jackie hopes to gain the opportunity to learn how to streamline her work and become more efficient. She wants to be able to take on more work and realize how things operate within her department. Jackie enjoys taking on new tasks to learn and has a sense of accomplishment when given more jobs. Her top three life highlights include traveling to Spain, Tangiers, and St. Lucia. She had the opportunity to hold a baby lion cub in Spain and sail around the Pitons in St. Lucia. Jackie also swam and petted stingrays in the Cayman Islands and hopes to travel to Scotland and take a cruise through Europe one day!

New Hire Spotlight: Riley Dixon

 

Welcome to Storage Solutions, Riley Dixon!

We are pleased to welcome Riley Dixon to Storage Solutions! Riley joins the MAC sales team as a National Accounts Manager. He is based out of our Westfield office.  He attended Ball State University and graduated in 2018 with a degree in Business Administration.  Riley last worked at a company called Crown Equipment as an account rep where he sold forklifts and warehouse solutions. He managed and developed accounts located in the Eastern/Southern parts of Marion County in Indianapolis.

Riley is from Fort Wayne, IN, living in downtown Indianapolis.  Outside of work, he likes to spend time with friends and take weekend trips to different cities in the U.S.  He also enjoys wake surfing, watching sports, and playing basketball.  Riley hopes to gain more detailed industry knowledge on complex projects here at SSI. He’s excited to learn from our current sales representatives who have been very successful!

One surprising detail about Riley is that he is terrified of the ocean!  A fear many others can relate to.  His top three highlights include: becoming an uncle, moving to Indianapolis, and starting a career in sales.
